Missionary Oblates of Mary Immaculate - Europe

Ireland:  The Oblates of the Anglo-Irish Province coordinate a five-day pilgrimage to Lourdes each September for the elderly, sick and homebound people of Edinburgh, Dublin, Liverpool, Anglesey and the island of Jersey.  The Oblates were the first group to bring pilgrims from Ireland to Lourdes.  They’ve continued the tradition every year since 1883, with the exception of wartime when travel was impossible.

Wales: The Oblates reach out to troubled youth through the Oblate Summer Adventure Camp, hosted in the Snowdonia Mountains of North Wales.  The camp brings together groups of kids from diverse backgrounds, many of whom face personal challenges.  The annual camp began in August 2010 for the children of Oblate parishes in various cities throughout Ireland, Wales, England and Scotland.
