I wish you could be with my fellow Oblates and me during this joyous season of Advent to see the lighted candles at the National Shrine of Our Lady of the Snows, one of the largest and most popular Marian shrines in the United States.

The candle flames are beautiful and beckon us with their warmth. We Oblates know by looking at the candles that each one represents a generous person who is helping us. We pray constantly for your petitions and thank you for your generosity. This Advent, will you consider a donation of $75 to help us care for the poor and abandoned people in our Oblate missions? We will light a candle each week at the Shrine for your petitions.
