Tuesday of the Twenty-fourth Week in Ordinary Time
O Jesus, through the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I offer You my prayers, works, joys, and sufferings of this day for all the intentions of Your Sacred Heart, in union with the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass throughout the world, for the salvation of souls, the reparation of sins, the reunion of all Christians. We pray for those persons living on the margins of society, in inhumane life conditions; may they not be overlooked by institutions and never considered of lesser importance. Amen
What kind of face do you have, O God? Is it a hard face like granite or a gentle soft face; a happy or a sad face? Lord, we cannot help but put a face on You and the face we give You depends on our background, education and our relationship with You and with our neighbor. Through Your Scripture, Lord, help us to see that Your face is the compassionate and loving face of Jesus. Amen
Take the Next Step to Strengthen Your Prayer Life
We all could use some healing in our life. And prayer is the best way for us to communicate our needs with God.
Healing Prayers is a wonderful prayer book created by the Missionary Oblates for all those who long for the healing power of the Lord. For these persons, this prayer book has been written in faith and hope that, united in prayer, we might all experience healing of body, mind and spirit in every aspect of our lives.
