Giving Tuesday Donations

Pope Pius XI called our religious order specialists of the most difficult missions of the Church.

The Missionary Oblates continue to respond to the call of those in need. About 3,500 priests and brothers serve missions in the United States and in 70 countries on five continents around the world.

Your Giving Tuesday donations enable us to tend to the spiritual and physical needs of the poor and abandoned.

A Votive Candle will be lit for your intentions at the National Shrine of Our Lady of the Snows for a donation of $25 or more. Your intentions will be remembered by the Oblates throughout the world.

Having a Votive Candle lit is a beautiful form of prayer. The light from the candle is a powerful symbol of Christ, the Light of the World. You may have a Votive Candle lit for yourself, a loved one or a special intention.
