Pray for Healing and Hope

For 81 years, the Shrine of Our Lady of the Snows in Belleville, Illinois, has welcomed pilgrims from around the world during our Healing and Hope Novena (July 28 through August 5). Pilgrims travel to Belleville to join with my brother Oblates and me in praying the Novena for those in need of healing and hope. Those with cancer. Those in abusive relationships. Those whose faith has waned.

The Missionary Oblates bring healing and hope to people every day, both near and far. My brother Oblate Fr. Salvador (Chava) Gonzalez, OMI, who is director of the Shrine, counsels those with physical addictions, and ministers to the incarcerated.

To demonstrate the many ways in which our Blessed Mother offers us healing and hope, this year’s Novena will follow our patroness from her unwavering “Yes” to God’s will at the Annunciation through receiving the gift of the Holy Spirit in the Upper Room at Pentecost.

So that you and I may be joined in prayer, I would like to offer a few different gifts as a thank you for your financial support. Please scroll down to view a special Healing Enrollment Mass card, gifts to enhance your prayer life, or to have a votive candle lit for your intentions at the Shrine during the Novena to Our Lady of the Snows or at the sacred grotto where Our Lady of Lourdes appeared to St. Bernadette in France.

Thank you for your support of the Missionary Oblates as we bring Healing and Hope to the poor and most abandoned in the United States and 70 countries around the world.
