Meet Fr. Raymond Cook, OMI, Our New U.S. Provincial
We are pleased to announce the appointment of Fr. Raymond Cook, OMI, as the new Provincial of the United States Province of the Missionary Oblates of Mary Immaculate.
Fr. Ray was born in Connecticut and applied to join the Missionary Oblates in 2003 and was ordained a priest in 2012. He began his Oblate Journey as a member of the staff at King’s House Retreat and Renewal Center in Belleville, Illinois. In 2014 he went on to become the Director of the Newman Center and the Chaplain and Administrator of St. Mary’s Chapel at Rice University in Houston, Texas.
Fr. Ray is a man of deep faith, personal integrity, a strong sense of mission and a faithful promoter of vocations. He and his council will be installed on October 23 in Washington, DC.
