Our founder, St. Eugene de Mazenod, chose Mary Immaculate to be the patroness of the Missionary Oblates. She is the model of our faith.
Just as she accompanied her son Jesus on His ministry, we pray she accompanies us wherever we serve so that we can carry on the mission of her Son to spread His message of love and mercy. One of the prayers of St. Eugene that we recite often is:
Mary Immaculate, Mother of Mercy, we ask that you protect and strengthen our missionaries and help the people we serve.
May 21 is the feast day of St. Eugene de Mazenod. In observance, the Missionary Oblates begin a nine-day Novena for Vocations. It is a time when we Oblates immerse ourselves in prayer to restore and refresh our own spirituality.
We would greatly appreciate your support of our vocations and ministries. The cost of tuition and living expenses for seminarians at Oblate School of Theology is $35,000 a year. Click here to donate directly to Oblate Vocations or share your gift on the form below to send your money to wherever the need is greatest in our missions.
Additionally, I would like to offer you a Spiritual Enrollment Mass card. You may also receive, for a donation of $35 or more, our St. Eugene de Mazenod rosary, created specifically for the Missionary Oblates, which features a portrait of our founder.
My brother Oblates and I are honored to pray for you and your loved ones through the intercession of St. Eugene de Mazenod. Click here to submit your personal intentions.
May God bless you.
