The Missionary Association of Mary Immaculate-USA. a division of Oblate Service Corporation, is seeking applicants for a Full-Time Website Coordinator. The Oblate Missionary Society, Inc. is a nonprofit mission development and fundraising office, located in Belleville, Illinois and San Antonio, TX.

POSITION: Website Coordinator

The Website Coordinator will be working for the Missionary Association of Mary Immaculate-USA and the National Shrine of Our Lady of the Snows. This position assists, initiates and oversees the development, coordination of the design and maintenance of website for Missionary Association of Mary Immaculate-USA and National Shrine of Our Lady of the Snows.

Full-Time- Non-exempt Location– Belleville, IL

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    1. Use content management systems (WordPress) and other digital platforms to review, publish and maintain approved content to websites and digital platforms.
    2. Assist in the development, testing, implementation, and general maintenance of WordPress sites and blogs.
    3. Typically works on cross-functional teams to translate donor/customer needs and technology directions into website and product definitions.
    4. Responsible for design, deployment, monitoring, sending of targeted email marketing
    5. Publish photo galleries, audio interviews and video galleries. Use webpages for cross-promoting and sharing resources with social media.
    6.  Automte posts of daily content using Hootsuite, or other applicable tools.
    7. Create, design, and publish new pages.
    8. Create, update, and maintain website menus and navigation structure.
    9. Create, update, and maintain online registration forms on supported websites.
    10. Create, update, and maintain donation pages on websites.
    11. Update/troubleshoot CSS styles and scripts.Create print
    12. friendly website redirects (vanity URLs) for promotional materials.
    13. Ensure date-sensitive content is updated or deleted as applicable.
    14.  roubleshoot errors, update outdated links and correct text mistakes.
    15. Provides daily maintenance of organizational supported websites.
    16. Documents procedures for business continuity.
    17. Keeps intranet current with job postings, forms, etc.
    18. Keeps current on all website legislation.
    19. Checks organization e-mail box throughout the day and routes to proper department.

Education and/or Required Experience

  • High school diploma and a certificate or an associate degree in web/digital marketing or computer-related field.
  • 1+ years of professional experience in web/digital marketing or computer-related field (internships &project work will be considered)
  • Knowledge of and high-level skill in web content management systems (WordPress, MailChimp, Hootsuite, etc.)
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge in HTML/CSS.
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge in JavaScript is a plus.
  • Intermediate to advanced skills with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel) and Adobe Acrobat Pro.
  • Good troubleshooting skills. Ability to apply existing knowledge and logic to new situations.
  • SEO knowledge and its impact on the websites is a plus
  • Proven success in working independently and meeting deadlines
  • Good written and oral communication skills.
