Saint Jude Shrine, New Orleans – In the heart of the French Quarter of New Orleans, St. Jude Shrine serves the poor who are overlooked by the tourists to the area’s numerous attractions. The Shrine’s ministries include a homeless shelter and soup kitchen.

Anna’s House, South Korea
Anna’s House, South Korea – Founded by Fr. Vincenzo Bordo, OMI, Anna’s House has grown into the largest social service agency in South Korea that helps the homeless. The program provides food, shelter, medical care and job training for thousands of people every year.
Missions in Cuba – The Missionary Oblates of Mary Immaculate was the first religious order to be allowed into Cuba after Catholicism was banned for decades from the island. We have now ministered in Cuba for 25 years. The Oblates have two communities, one in Havanna and the other 60 miles west, in Piñar del Rio. While the government still restricts some aspects of our mission work, there are positive signs that the Catholic faith is more visible in Cuba.
Missions in Zambia — The Missionary Oblates have been ministering in Zambia since 1984 in a variety of ways. At Lukulu School for Boys, they train young men for skilled professions such as mechanics and computer science and programming. Among other projects, the Missionary Oblates also run parishes, minister to the students at the Sancta Maria College of Nursing and Midwifery and operate Radio Liseli to spread the Word of God to people in rural areas.
Missions in Haiti — The Missionary Oblates work around the nation of Haiti to provide humanitarian aid and spiritual support during times of natural disaster or civil unrest. We have also built and operated schools, furnishing them with technological and educational tools in the poor island nation.
Radio Pio XII in Bolivia — For more than 50 years, Radio Pio XII has been broadcasting in support of miners who work in slave-like conditions high in the Andes Mountains of Bolivia. The station speaks out against corruption by the government, mining companies and labor unions. Radio Pio XII has been damaged by bombs many times through the years, and several Oblates have survived assassination attempts because of their outspoken support of human rights for Bolivia’s poor.
Slavutich, Ukraine – Slavutich is the closest city to the nuclear disaster site of Chernobyl. The Oblates run the local parish. Most of the parishioners are survivors of the disaster and suffer from serious health problems.
