199 Years of Missionary Service: Bringing Christ’s Love to the Most Abandoned

In 1816, the Missionary Oblates of Mary Immaculate were founded by St. Eugene de Mazenod in Aix en Provence, France. On February 17, 1826, the Oblates received Papal approval and recognized as a missionary congregation to the universal Church. For 199 years, the Missionary Oblates have been serving the most abandoned, bringing hope, faith, and compassion to those in greatest need. Whether it’s feeding the hungry, providing medical care, building schools, or sharing the Gospel, our mission has remained the same—to be the hands and feet of Christ in a world longing for His love.

“Let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth.”
– 1 John 3:18

Through your prayers and generosity, we continue this sacred mission, offering support to communities who face poverty, war, natural disasters, and despair.

How Your Compassion Can Transform Lives

With your help, we serve forgotten communities around the world, including places like:

  • Africa – Supporting women and children in crisis by providing shelter, counseling, and vocational training.

Your Faith in Action Can Be a Lifeline

“And do not forget to do good and to share with others, for with such sacrifices God is pleased.”
– Hebrews 13:16

With so many communities suffering, will you answer God’s call today?

Your generosity can bring:

  • Safety and shelter to families with nowhere else to turn
  • Life-saving medical care for the sick and suffering
  • Education and vocational training to empower children and young adults
