From the Provincial, Fr. Raymond Cook, OMI

Dear Friends in Christ,

As we share this Spring Edition of Oblate World Magazine, I am filled with gratitude for the many blessings we have experienced together in our shared mission. Through your prayers and support, the Missionary Oblates of Mary Immaculate continue to bring hope, love, and faith to those most in need, across the world.

In this edition, we celebrate the 40th anniversary of our presence in Zambia, where we continue to work alongside the local community, and we reflect on the challenges and joys of our ministry in Turkmenistan. Additionally, we share the inspiring work of our youth ministry in Houston,
where young hearts are being touched and transformed through our Oblate mission, helping to cultivate the next generation of leaders for Christ. These stories and others offer a glimpse into the vital work we are privileged to do, inspired by the example of St. Eugene de Mazenod, who called us to serve with compassion and dedication. As you read through these pages, I encourage you to join us in prayer and reflection, knowing that together, we can continue to bring God’s light to the most remote and underserved regions of the world.
