Summary of Position
This position provides administrative services support to the Provincial Superior and Provincial Leadership Team as well as to 200 plus Oblates located across the United States and overseas. In addition to typing, filing and scheduling, the Executive Assistant performs preparing and management of correspondence, prepares meeting agendas and materials; serves as recording secretary for council meetings and other meetings as needed; coordinates and manages statistics and databases; maintenance of religious personnel, corporate and canonical records.
Regularly communicates with a diverse group of external callers as well as internal contacts at all levels of the organization. Working to provide official Vatican documents to and from Rome as needed by the general’s secretary. Independent judgment is required to plan, prioritize and organize the workload. Coordinates the work and productivity of the USP Office Managers and the local administrative support staff. Collaborates on projects initiated by the Provincial and/or the Leadership Team. Disseminates highly confidential and time-sensitive materials. Prepares routine and advanced correspondence including letters, memoranda, and reports. Serves as executive liaison to the Provincial Council.
Summary of Position
The Social Media & AI Manager for Client Engagement is responsible for actively managing the Missionary Oblates of Mary Immaculate’s online presence across social media platforms such as Instagram, Tik Tok, Facebook, etc. while integrating Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools to enhance engagement, content creation and performance analysis.
This role primarily focuses on representing the organization’s voice on social media, interacting with followers, monitoring conversations, and building a strong brand relationship with the online community. This individual will be responsible for promoting Catholicism with current writing from the Pope and Magisterium.

Summary of Position
We are seeking a talented and reliable individual to join our Maintenance Department. Our ideal candidate will be a jack-of-all trades, with knowledge of carpentry, HVAC systems, painting, plastering, plumbing, masonry, roofing, caulking, and welding.
Essential job tasks will vary day-to-day based on what is the need of attention at the time, but can frequently include skills in the area of carpentry and handling basic repairs on buildings and structures, plumbing knowledge to address leaks and other drainage issues, HVAC knowledge to keep climate control in the facilities functioning properly, painting areas that have become old or are chipping and fading, fixing potential safety hazards to avoid injuries on the property, applying preventative maintenance to the buildings, structures and devotional sites to reduce the risk of future problems and have mechanical ability to perform general maintenance on company vehicles, tools, grounds equipment, etc.

Summary of Position
The candidate should be a Roman Catholic who possesses a firm commitment to the pastoral formation of future and current ministerial leaders in the Roman Catholic Church and other Christian denominations enrolled in the Masters of Divinity (MDiv) program. The candidate will demonstrate a sound grasp of the importance of theological reflection in developing a reflective practice in ministry. The successful candidate will have a familiarity with the Church and broader community of San Antonio, establishing and maintaining ministry placement settings in keeping with curriculum requirements. The ideal candidate will have working relationships with Church and community leaders who might serve as current and potential ministry supervisors. She or he will be prepared to fulfil the canonical requirements expected of a Roman Catholic teaching in a school of theology as expressed in Ex Corde Ecclesiae. The ideal candidate will be prepared to maintain essential records and to teach a sequence of masters-level courses in pastoral/practical theology.
The successful candidate will be willing and able to work with colleagues in all aspects of graduate professional theological education in an ecumenically diverse setting. She or he will serve on faculty committees, advise and mentor students, maintain positive relationships with leaders in the local Church, recruit and form supervisors, work collaboratively with formators of MDiv students from diocesan and religious communities, and organize and facilitate theological reflection groups.
Summary of Position
The Director of Admission and Strategic Recruitment will lead OST’s student recruitment and admissions efforts, serving as the primary driver of strategies to attract, admit, and enroll mission-aligned students.
This is an in-person office role, responsible for hands-on recruitment and admissions work while also implementing a comprehensive recruitment plan. The Director will build strong partnerships with faculty, leadership, ministry organizations, and external partners to strengthen enrollment pipelines, while shaping a modern admissions operation that reflects OST’s mission and strategic priorities.
This position will report to the Vice President for Academic Affairs and Dean, and will work closely with the Registrar, Communications/Marketing, IT, and program directors.
Summary of Position
The Oblates of Mary Immaculate have been engaged in serving the Hispanic/Latin community in the United States since 1849. This follows the Oblate charism and the mission of its school since its founding in 1903: to prepare students for ministry in the Southwest and Mexico. That mission has expanded over the decades to “the multicultural, global reality of church and society, with particular attention to the diverse and rich Hispanic reality of the Americas.
The purpose of the Associate Dean of Hispanic Engagement is to enhance this commitment by establishing a full-time position, with faculty status, to increase “cultural responsiveness, access to theological education, affordability, and student success.” The purpose of the Associate Dean is twofold: to foster research and teaching in Hispanic theology and ministry, and to coordinate the school’s accompaniment and collaboration with Hispanic communities.
Summary of Position
The Receptionist will be responsible for answering incoming calls, directing calls to appropriate staff, mail distribution, maintaining log of checks received, and providing additional clerical support. The Receptionist is the first point of contact for the organization, which requires a cheerful outlook and polished, professional appearance. This position will multitask a variety of front office activities. Welcome on-site guests, determine nature of business, and announces guest to appropriate personnel. Answers incoming telephone calls, determining purpose of callers, and forwarding calls to appropriate personnel or department. Takes and delivers messages or transfers calls to voicemail when appropriate personnel are unavailable. Schedules meeting spaces and facilities for specific areas. Assists administrative assistants with clerical duties to include faxing, copying, and organizing/maintaining files. Coordinates with vendors for on-site services (when applicable). Ensures main voicemail reflects office closings, special events as well as posting office/institutional signs regarding announcements. Answers questions about organization and provides callers with address, directions, and other requested information. Receives and forwards incoming faxes. Receives, sorts, and distributes mail. Summary of Position
The Cook assists with the preparation of food to be served at
Madonna Residence complying with all applicable sanitation,
health and personal hygiene standards and following established
food production programs and procedures Is also responsible for
appropriate use of facility supplies, orders supplies and keeps
production records. Prepares food to be served using established
production procedures and systems; determines amount and type of
food and supplies required and ensures availability of supplies and
food. Sets steam table; serves or ensures proper serving of food for
tray line or dining room. Complies with established sanitation
standards, personal hygiene, and health standards. Observes proper
food preparation and handling techniques. Stores food properly
and safely, marking the date and item. Reports necessary
equipment repair and maintenance to supervisor. Correctly
prepares all food served following standard recipes and special diet
orders. Assists with food production to coordinate with meal
serving hours so that excellence, quality, temperature, and
appearance of food are preserved. Makes grocery lists and orders
items on list from authorized vendors on a weekly basis. Always
keeps work area neat and clean; cleans and maintains equipment,
storerooms, freezer, and cooler used in food preparation.
Completes food temperature checks before service. Washes dishes,
helps in dining room, and takes out trash. Reports any damages or
malfunctions to the Manager. Performs other duties as assigned by

Summary of Position
Under the direction of the Director of Nursing and Licensed Nursing staff, the CNA will strive for excellence by having the willingness to exceed expectations in the effective and efficient delivery of resident care by assisting residents with daily activities, self-administration of medications, monitoring their vital signs and reporting their mental, physical, or emotional conditions. Will also perform light housekeeping and bed making. Assumes responsibility to be knowledgeable of current residents’ conditions and medical issues, as well as all other information pertinent to providing their care by getting a verbal report at the beginning of scheduled shift from the charge nurse and giving a verbal report to the charge nurse before end of shift. Must be knowledgeable in the performance and documentation of vital signs. Performs all required documentation accurately and thoroughly Assists with residents’ meals whether feeding or serving. Offers food and hydration throughout the shift. Be trained in and able to perform medication reminders per the house policy and assists residents with self-administration of medications. Aids with resident’s personal hygiene such as bathing, grooming and toileting. Provides exercise, active or passive, including taking immobile residents outdoors in good weather. Assists residents with safety needs such as transfers, and position changes plus assures a safe environment. In the absence of the Director of Nursing, will report any concerns directly to the charge nurse on duty or on call. Feel confident in calling for emergency medical services when directed by the on-call nurse or house superior. Assists residents with mobility where applicable. Will be cognizant of the residents’ environment, performs general home management functions such as light housekeeping and bed making as necessary and reports all safety concerns to the charge nurse. Report repair and supply needs to the charge nurse. Be responsible for continued education by attending in-services and regularly scheduled staff meetings and completing five hours of continuing education a year. Must maintain current certification. Summary of Position
Assists in the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of health care provided at Immaculate Heart of Mary Residence (IHM), under the direction of the Nursing Supervisor. Provides delegated nursing care and functions at IHM as assigned by the Supervisor of Nursing using and complying with established procedures, policies, guidelines, and standards. Assesses health status of patients and follows a plan of care as prescribed by the Registered Nurse. Properly utilizes and maintains communication by utilizing the proper Chain of Command at IHM. Answers and refers to telephone calls or other inquiries to ensure accurate and timely communication is facilitated. Supervises unlicensed health care personnel. Accurately documents medical and pertinent information in medical records.
In the absence of the Nursing Supervisor acts as the liaison between patients, physicians, family members and the Oblate Administration. Assists patients, family members or other clients with concern and empathy; respect their confidentiality and privacy and communicate with them in a courteous and respectful manner. Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
