Join Us in Bringing Hope to Families in Need

Every year on May 15, the International Day of Families invites the world to reflect on the strength, dignity, and resilience of families. It is a moment to recognize that, across every culture and every border, families share the same hopes: to stay connected, protect one another, and build a future rooted in faith and stability.

For the Missionary Oblates of Mary Immaculate, this day is more than a global observance. It is a lived reality of their ministry. In remote villages, border communities, rural missions, and urban neighborhoods, Oblates accompany families who face poverty, displacement, illness, and uncertainty — yet continue to hold fast to hope.

This year, we share the journey of Bro. Pablo, an Oblate born in Venezuela and raised in the U.S., whose vocation has made his world even bigger. His ministry has brought him in contact with families who endure separation, economic hardship, and the daily struggle to remain strong. His story reflects the experience of countless families the Missionary Oblates serve: families who persevere through challenges with courage and faith.

Across the world, the Missionary Oblates walk with families who lack access to basic resources, who are rebuilding after loss, or who are striving to stay united despite difficult circumstances. Their ministry offers:

  • Pastoral Care
  • Spiritual Support
  • Practical Assistance

These services help families feel seen, valued, and accompanied—and people like you make it possible.

Your gift today helps strengthen families and sustains Oblate ministries around the world.

On this International Day of Families, you can help ensure that families everywhere receive the support they need to remain strong and hopeful.
