A Journey of Faith, Resilience, and Purpose

When Nolens Mirabile Cervantes first met the Missionary Oblates of Mary Immaculate In Tijuana, Mexico at age 13, she was searching for direction. That retreat changed her life—and set her on a path of service, study, and spiritual growth.

Years later, Nolens graduated with a degree in Industrial Engineering. But the road wasn’t easy. Financial hardship and the uncertainty of the pandemic nearly derailed her education. In those moments, the St. Eugene Scholarship Program became more than a lifeline—it was a sign of God’s providence.

“The scholarship wasn’t just financial aid,” Nolens shares. “It was a reminder of God’s love shown through generous people who believe in education rooted in faith.”

Thanks to the support of the Missionary Oblates and donors like you, Nolens completed her studies without stepping away from her ministry. Today, she works as an engineer and continues to serve her parish community—living her vocation with purpose and compassion.
