On International Youth Day, we celebrate the quiet strength and steadfast faith of young people—those who are shaping the world not with noise or fear, but with conviction rooted in Christ.

This spirit of transformation is at the heart of Oblate Academy, a virtual ministry that reaches families wherever they are. In living rooms, kitchens, backyards, and the everyday moments of life, children aren’t just absorbing lessons—they’re growing in integrity, compassion, and the joy of the Gospel.

Each digital lesson reflects the Missionary Oblates’ charism: mercy, hope, and a preferential love for the vulnerable. This is a ministry built not on physical walls, but on the spiritual bond between generations growing together in faith.

How Oblate Academy is Shaping the Next Generation

Launched in April 2020, during a time of global uncertainty, Oblate Academy has blossomed into a vibrant online community that continues to grow in both spirit and reach. Its mission is simple yet powerful: to make the beauty of our Catholic faith accessible and engaging for young children and families.

Every month, young learners (ages 3 to 10) receive virtual lessons centered on saints and virtues, brought to life through colorful stories, hands-on activities, and heartfelt prayers—tools to help families find God in the rhythms of ordinary life. In Summer 2024, Oblate Academy expanded with a summer edition, nurturing young hearts year-round and keeping Christ at the center, even during school breaks.

To better serve this growing community, a new website is in development, offering easy access to resources, reflections, and educational content whenever families need it. The virtual Academy is planting seeds of faith that will flourish for generations to come—and the Missionary Oblates of Mary Immaculate are honored to walk alongside every step.
