Bringing Clean Water – Bringing Hope
Water is Life
For 2.2 billion people around the world, access to safe drinking water remains a distant dream. Help raise awareness about the global water crisis and take action to change lives on this National Water Day. Your support can address critical issues related to clean water access and many other challenges faced by vulnerable communities around the world.
Why Your Support Matters
The joy and relief on the faces of individuals as they drink clean water for the first time is immeasurable. Families no longer have to worry about waterborne diseases, and communities can thrive because they no longer have to walk miles to fetch water, can turn these dreams into reality.
Health and Well-being: Clean water is the foundation of health. By providing access to safe drinking water, waterborne diseases are reduced and overall community health improves.
But the benefits don’t stop there. Access to clean water also means:
Empowerment: Access to clean water frees up time for education and economic activities, empowering individuals and families to build better futures.
Dignity and Hope: Clean water restores dignity to those who have struggled for so long. It brings hope, renewal, and the promise of a brighter tomorrow.
When you support these initiatives, you’re backing a mission with a long-standing commitment to helping those in need.
The Missionary Oblates’ Commitment
Founded on January 25, 1816, by St. Eugène de Mazenod in Aix-en-Provence, France, the Missionary Oblates of Mary Immaculate were established to renew the Roman Catholic Church in France and serve the most abandoned and poor communities. Today, they continue their mission worldwide, bringing hope, compassion, and spiritual nourishment to the most vulnerable populations.
