Daily Prayer 10/17

Memorial of St. Ignatius of Antioch, Bishop and Martyr

O Jesus, through the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I offer You my prayers, works, joys, and sufferings of this day in union with the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass throughout the world, for the salvation of souls, the reparation of sins, the reunion of all Christians, and in particular for the intentions of the Holy Father this month. Amen

Let us pray that believers in different religious traditions might work together to defend and promote peace, justice, and human fraternity. (USCCB.org)

Gospel Reading of the Day: Luke: 12:1-7

Daily Prayer:

Lord of Strength, sometimes I feel small and afraid, but You remind me I am worth more than sparrows. Like St. Ignatius of Antioch, help me live with bold faith, not hiding who I am, even when it costs me. Thank You for loving me so deeply, even down to the hairs on my head. Amen
