Daily Prayer 11/17

Memorial of St. Elizabeth of Hungary, Religious

O Jesus, through the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I offer You my prayers, works, joys, and sufferings of this day in union with the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass throughout the world, for the salvation of souls, the reparation of sins, the reunion of all Christians, and in particular for the intentions of the Holy Father this month. Amen

Let us pray that believers in different religious traditions might work together to defend and promote peace, justice, and human fraternity. (USCCB.org)

Gospel Reading of the Day:  Luke 18:35-43

Daily Prayer:

Compassionate Lord, I cry out to you from my heart, like the blind man. Please don’t pass me by. Give me a heart like St. Elizabeth of Hungary, generous and brave. Open my eyes to see You and the needs around me. Let Your healings lead me to serve others with Your great love. Amen
