Daily Prayer 12/1

Monday of the First Week of Advent

O Jesus, through the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I offer You my prayers, works, joys, and sufferings of this day in union with the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass throughout the world, for the salvation of souls, the reparation of sins, the reunion of all Christians, and in particular for the intentions of the Holy Father this month. Amen

Let us pray that Christians living in areas of war or conflict, especially in the Middle East, might be seeds of peace, reconciliation, and hope. (USCCB.org)

Gospel Reading of the Day:  Matthew 8:5-11

Daily Prayer:

Lord Jesus, in this holy season of Advent, I wait for You with longing in my being. Like the centurion, I believe in the power of Your word to heal me. I am not worthy for You to come under my roof, but I open my heart to Your healing mercy. Come into my life always and make me whole. Let my Advent journey be filled with faith and trust in You always. Amen
