Daily Prayer 1/31

Memorial of St. John Bosco, Priest

O Jesus, through the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I offer You my prayers, works, joys, and sufferings of this day in union with the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass throughout the world, for the salvation of souls, the reparation of sins, the reunion of all Christians, and in particular for the intentions of the Holy Father this month. Amen

Let us pray that praying with the Word of God be nourishment for our lives and a source of hope in our communities, helping us build a more fraternal and missionary Church. (dailyprayers.org)

Gospel Reading of the Day:  Mark 4:35-41

Daily Prayer:

Calming Jesus, when my world is being tossed about like a boat in the storm, I earnestly call to You to calm these storms. I forget so easily that You are already with me to rebuke whatever hinders me from You. Teach me to anchor my faith in You before any circumstances unhinge me. Like St. John Bosco, who trusted You with daring hope and a father’s heart, let my life be a testimony of the great things done in your name, now and always. Amen.
