Daily Prayer 9/23
Memorial of St. Pius of Pietrelcina (St. Padre Pio)
Morning Offering:
O Jesus, through the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I offer You my prayers, works, joys, and sufferings of this day in union with the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass throughout the world, for the salvation of souls, the reparation of sins, the reunion of all Christians, and in particular for the intentions of the Holy Father this month. Amen
Holy Father’s Intention for September 2026:
For the care of water
Let us pray for a just and sustainable management of water, a vital resource, so that everyone may have equal access to it. (USCCB.org)
Gospel Reading of the Day: Luke 9:1-6
Daily Prayer:
Lord Master, sometimes I rely too much on my own plans and abilities. Help me trust more deeply in Your call and care for me. Through the example of St. Padre Pio, teach me to grow deeper in prayer, faith, and confidence in You. May I carry that same love with me wherever I go and share it with those You place in my path. Amen.
