A Sacred Tapestry: Celebrate Lives, Share Hope, Give Back
Every soul holds a story, and every story carries beauty. As All Souls’ Day approaches, pause and honor the beautiful lives and memories of your loved ones. This sacred day is not only a time of mourning but a celebration—a joyful commemoration of love, faith, and the enduring connections that shape our lives.
Celebrate the Beauty of Memory
Join us in a Tapestry of Remembrance—where faith and memory intertwine through heartfelt prayers and reflections. The Missionary Oblates welcome you to honor those who have gone before us, carrying their spirit forward in love and devotion.
One such story we hold in our hearts is that of Fr. Allen Maes, OMI, a beloved member of the Missionary Oblates of Mary Immaculate. Fr. Maes passed away on April 4, 2025, at the Benedictine Living Community in Belleville, Illinois, after 50 years of dedicated service. His mission took him from Cameroon to Chicago, guiding seminarians and ministering to the poor with deep kindness and unwavering faith. His legacy, like so many others, remains a guiding light in our prayers.
Each act of remembrance strengthens the sacred tapestry we weave together this All Souls’ Day—a tapestry rich with stories of grace, compassion, and faithful service.
