Daily Prayer 10/16

Thursday of the Twenty-eighth Week in Ordinary Time

O Jesus, through the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I offer You my prayers, works, joys, and sufferings of this day in union with the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass throughout the world, for the salvation of souls, the reparation of sins, the reunion of all Christians, and in particular for the intentions of the Holy Father this month. Amen

Let us pray that believers in different religious traditions might work together to defend and promote peace, justice, and human fraternity. (USCCB.org)

Gospel Reading of the Day:  Luke 11:47-54

Daily Prayer:

Lord Jesus, help me notice when I have built walls instead of making space for connections. I have respected the past, but sometimes I miss what it is trying to teach me. Keep my heart open to what You’re inviting me into, even when it is uncomfortable. Help me stay humble, listen to Your messengers of the times10-16-25, and walk in Your ways, now and always. Amen
