Daily Prayer 12/10

Wednesday of the Second Week of Advent

O Jesus, through the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I offer You my prayers, works, joys, and sufferings of this day in union with the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass throughout the world, for the salvation of souls, the reparation of sins, the reunion of all Christians, and in particular for the intentions of the Holy Father this month. Amen

Let us pray that Christians living in areas of war or conflict, especially in the Middle East, might be seeds of peace, reconciliation, and hope. (USCCB.org)

Gospel Reading of the Day:  Matthew 11:28-30

Daily Prayer:

Lord of All, I come to You today with all my burdens and weariness. Teach me to trust Your gentle heart and find rest in Your love. Help me lay down my pride and walk humbly in Your ways. This Advent season, fill my soul with the peace only You can give and send me to comfort those who feel alone and tired. Amen
