Daily Prayer 12/17

Wednesday of the Third Week of Advent
O Antiphon of the Day: O Wisdom (O Sapientia)

O Jesus, through the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I offer You my prayers, works, joys, and sufferings of this day in union with the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass throughout the world, for the salvation of souls, the reparation of sins, the reunion of all Christians, and in particular for the intentions of the Holy Father this month. Amen

Let us pray that Christians living in areas of war or conflict, especially in the Middle East, might be seeds of peace, reconciliation, and hope. (USCCB.org)

Gospel Reading of the Day:  Matthew 1:1-17

Daily Prayer:

O Wisdom of God, when I read the genealogy of Your Son, I see a story of Your wisdom and grace through all generations. You chose imperfect people and wove them into Your plan of salvation. Use my life in the same way, even with my flaws. Help me trust that Your promises are bigger than my failures. I am grateful for You writing me into Your story in Jesus Christ. Amen
