Daily Prayer 12/22

Monday of the Fourth Week of Advent
O Antiphon of the Day: O King of the Nations (O Rex Gentium)

O Jesus, through the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I offer You my prayers, works, joys, and sufferings of this day in union with the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass throughout the world, for the salvation of souls, the reparation of sins, the reunion of all Christians, and in particular for the intentions of the Holy Father this month. Amen

Let us pray that Christians living in areas of war or conflict, especially in the Middle East, might be seeds of peace, reconciliation, and hope. (USCCB.org)

Gospel Reading of the Day:  Luke 1:46-56

Daily Prayer:

O King of the Nations, like Mary, my soul praises You because You have done great things for me. You see me even in my lowliness and lift me up with Your mercy. Your strength scatters fear and fills the hungry with good things. You keep Your promises and never forget Your people. Let my life honor You today and always. Amen
