Daily Prayer 12/5

Friday of the First Week of Advent

O Jesus, through the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I offer You my prayers, works, joys, and sufferings of this day in union with the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass throughout the world, for the salvation of souls, the reparation of sins, the reunion of all Christians, and in particular for the intentions of the Holy Father this month. Amen

Let us pray that Christians living in areas of war or conflict, especially in the Middle East, might be seeds of peace, reconciliation, and hope. (USCCB.org)

Gospel Reading of the Day:  Matthew 9:27-31

Daily Prayer:

Son of David, I cry out to You because I need Your mercy today. I believe that You can open my eyes to see Your light in my darkness. Heal the blindness of my heart and teach me to trust You more. Help me walk in faith even when the way ahead seems unclear. In this Advent season, prepare me to recognize Your presence in every moment. Amen
