Daily Prayer 1/5
Memorial of St. John Neuman, Bishop
Morning Offering:
O Jesus, through the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I offer You my prayers, works, joys, and sufferings of this day in union with the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass throughout the world, for the salvation of souls, the reparation of sins, the reunion of all Christians, and in particular for the intentions of the Holy Father this month. Amen
Holy Father’s Intention for January 2026: For Prayer with the Word of God
Let us pray that praying with the Word of God be nourishment for our lives and a source of hope in our communities, helping us build a more fraternal and missionary Church. (dailyprayers.org)
Gospel Reading of the Day: Matthew 4:12-17, 23-25
Daily Prayer:
Light of the World, You call me out of my darkness, just like You called those by the Sea of Galilee. Teach me to embrace Your light that is here and now. Heal any sickness and every hurt that I have, for I want to be made complete in You. Like St. John Neumann, I pray to have the same courage to lead others to Your love. Let Your light always shine through me, so others see hope and healing in Your name. Amen.
