Daily Prayer 10/16
Friday of the XXVIII Week in Ordinary Time
Morning Offering:
O Jesus, through the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I offer You my prayers, works, joys, and sufferings of this day in union with the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass throughout the world, for the salvation of souls, the reparation of sins, the reunion of all Christians, and in particular for the intentions of the Holy Father this month. Amen
Holy Father’s Intention for October 2026:
For mental health ministry
Let us pray that the mental health ministry be established throughout the Church, helping to overcome the stigma and discrimination of persons with mental illnesses. (USCCB.org)
Gospel Reading of the Day: Luke 12:1-7
Daily Prayer:
Lord Jesus, when life feels overwhelming and I am unsure of the path ahead, remind me that I belong to You and that I am never alone. Help me see myself as You see me: loved, valued, and precious. When fear or anxiety creeps in, show me to place my trust in You. Give me the courage to be open about my faith and show You to others. Let my heart and mind always rest in You. Amen.
