Daily Prayer 10/17
Memorial of St. Ignatius of Antioch, Bishop and Martyr
Morning Offering:
O Jesus, through the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I offer You my prayers, works, joys, and sufferings of this day in union with the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass throughout the world, for the salvation of souls, the reparation of sins, the reunion of all Christians, and in particular for the intentions of the Holy Father this month. Amen
Holy Father’s Intention for October 2026:
For mental health ministry
Let us pray that the mental health ministry be established throughout the Church, helping to overcome the stigma and discrimination of persons with mental illnesses. (USCCB.org)
Gospel Reading of the Day: Luke 12:8-12
Daily Prayer:
Lord Jesus, sometimes it is not easy to live my faith openly, but through the example of St. Ignatius of Antioch, remind me that You are worth following no matter the cost. Give my faith courage when I am afraid and grant my mind wisdom when I speak about You. Let Your Holy Spirit guide me every day, so that my words and actions reflect Your love always. Amen.
