Daily Prayer 10/18
XXIX Sunday in Ordinary Time
Morning Offering:
O Jesus, through the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I offer You my prayers, works, joys, and sufferings of this day in union with the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass throughout the world, for the salvation of souls, the reparation of sins, the reunion of all Christians, and in particular for the intentions of the Holy Father this month. Amen
Holy Father’s Intention for October 2026:
For mental health ministry
Let us pray that the mental health ministry be established throughout the Church, helping to overcome the stigma and discrimination of persons with mental illnesses. (USCCB.org)
Gospel Reading of the Day: Matthew 22:15-21
Daily Prayer:
Lord Jesus, with so many things competing for my attention each day, help me not to lose sight of You. Remind me that while I have responsibilities to fulfill, my heart belongs first to You. Teach me to be honest, faithful, and fair in all that I do. When I face difficult decisions, give me the wisdom to do what is right and the courage to live according to Your values. Help me remember that I bear Your image and may everything I say and do reflect my love for You. Amen.
