Daily Prayer 10/8
Thursday of the XXVII Week in Ordinary Time
Morning Offering:
O Jesus, through the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I offer You my prayers, works, joys, and sufferings of this day in union with the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass throughout the world, for the salvation of souls, the reparation of sins, the reunion of all Christians, and in particular for the intentions of the Holy Father this month. Amen
Holy Father’s Intention for October 2026:
For mental health ministry
Let us pray that the mental health ministry be established throughout the Church, helping to overcome the stigma and discrimination of persons with mental illnesses. (USCCB.org)
Gospel Reading of the Day: Luke 11:5-13
Daily Prayer:
Lord Jesus, teach me to come to You, trusting that You always hear my prayers. When I am worried or in need, help me keep asking, seeking, and knocking with faith. Remind me that You are a loving God who delights in giving good gifts to Your children. May I walk through this day trusting in Your care and in the guidance of Your Holy Spirit. Amen.
