Daily Prayer 3/22

Fifth Sunday of Lent

O Jesus, through the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I offer You my prayers, works, joys, and sufferings of this day in union with the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass throughout the world, for the salvation of souls, the reparation of sins, the reunion of all Christians, and in particular for the intentions of the Holy Father this month. Amen

Let us pray that nations move toward effective disarmament, particularly nuclear disarmament, and that world leaders choose the path of dialogue and diplomacy instead of violence. (USCCB.org)

Gospel Reading of the Day:  John 11:1-45

Daily Prayer:

Loving Lord, when I am hurting with pain and it feels like You are not listening, help me know You are even closer to me. Like Martha and Mary, I bring You my grief and questions, believing You care deeply about my pain. Call me out of places that are dead inside me and give me new life through Your calling. I choose to believe You, for You are eternal life. Amen.
