Daily Prayer 8/25

Monday of the Twenty-first Week in Ordinary Time

O Jesus, through the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I offer You my prayers, works, joys, and sufferings of this day in union with the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass throughout the world, for the salvation of souls, the reparation of sins, the reunion of all Christians, and in particular for the intentions of the Holy Father this month.  Amen

Let us pray that societies where coexistence seems more difficult might not succumb to the temptation of confrontation for ethnic, political, religious, or ideological reasons.

Gospel Reading of the Day:  Matthew 23:13-22

Daily Prayer:

Faithful Lord, I don’t want to block the way to Your kingdom, for myself or anyone else. Help me live with honesty, not just in words but in my heart. Keep me from getting caught up in appearances or empty rituals. Teach me to value what truly matters: justice, mercy, and faithfulness. Guide me always to live with love, not pride. Amen
