Daily Prayer 9/17
Wednesday of the Twenty-fourth Week in Ordinary Time
Morning Offering:
O Jesus, through the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I offer You my prayers, works, joys, and sufferings of this day in union with the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass throughout the world, for the salvation of souls, the reparation of sins, the reunion of all Christians, and in particular for the intentions of the Holy Father this month. Amen
Holy Father’s Intention for September 2025: For our relationship with all of creation
Let us pray that, inspired by Saint Francis, we might experience our interdependence with all creatures who are loved by God and worthy of love and respect. (USCCB.org)
Gospel Reading of the Day: Luke 7:31-35
Daily Prayer:
Loving Lord, sometimes I feel I just don’t fit in. No matter what I do, people misunderstand me. But You understand me. When You were criticized for Your words or works, You still loved anyway. Help me not get stuck in trying to please everyone; just help me walk with You, honest and free. Thank You for being my Savior who understands rejection and still chooses grace and love. Amen
