Daily Prayer 9/28

Twenty-sixth Sunday in Ordinary Time

O Jesus, through the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I offer You my prayers, works, joys, and sufferings of this day in union with the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass throughout the world, for the salvation of souls, the reparation of sins, the reunion of all Christians, and in particular for the intentions of the Holy Father this month. Amen

Let us pray that, inspired by Saint Francis, we might experience our interdependence with all creatures who are loved by God and worthy of love and respect. (USCCB.org)

Gospel Reading of the Day:  Luke 16:19-31

Daily Prayer:

Merciful Lord, I don’t want to be blind to the sufferings of others around me. Open my eyes to those I overlook daily, like Lazarus at the gate. Move me to act in Your name with compassion, generosity, and courage. I want to always live in the generosity You have shown to me. Amen
