One Note, One Soul, One Mission

At the close of Search #23, a simple note was found: “Thank you all… I’m healed.” No name. No backstory. Just a quiet testimony to the power of presence, prayer, and love. Among 290 young people, one soul found refuge—and that made it all worth it.

Love That Builds

In Tijuana, the collapsing home of Usceciona Rosas Durán stood on the edge of a ravine. Through the Oblate Center’s roofing program, volunteers rebuilt her shelter—despite setbacks and instability. That night, her family slept without fear. Her faith was met with grace.

A Place to Belong

Joselyn Miel Ajis Martínez, 22, arrived in Tijuana unsure of her place. What she found was a joyful, humble community—and a priest who made faith feel human. Her heart awakened. She now lives her spirituality daily and dreams of attending a Search retreat.

One Mission, Many Faces

A note. A roof. A spiritual awakening. Each story is different, but the mission is the same: walking with those who seek healing, dignity, and purpose. Whether in retreat halls or hillside homes, the Oblates continue to serve, supported by those who believe every soul matters.
