Celebrate International Workers’ Day

On this International Workers’ Day, we honor the sacred dignity of labor and the tireless efforts of workers who serve in the most challenging conditions. As we reflect on the dignity of labor, we are reminded of Colossians 3:23-24: “Whatever you do, work at it with your whole being, for the Lord and not for men, because you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as your reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.”

Through their efforts, Missionary Oblates of Mary Immaculate uplift the vulnerable, restore hope, and build communities rooted in compassion and resilience. Their work reminds us that labor is not merely a means to an end but a sacred act of stewardship and service to God’s people.

The Missionary Oblates embody this spirit through transformative acts of service. In places like:

  • Zambia: They support nurseries and their staff in providing essential care and early education to children in underserved communities. These nurseries not only nurture young minds but also enable parents to work and provide for their families, fostering dignity and stability.
  • Tijuana: Through the St. Eugene Scholarship Program, they provide educational opportunities to young people facing financial barriers. This program helps students pursue higher education, empowering them to achieve their professional dreams and uplift their communities.

Your support sustains their mission. Every donation strengthens their ability to touch lives and create meaningful change. Together, we can honor the dignity of labor and the sacred bond between faith and service.
