The U.S. Province of the Missionary Oblates of Mary Immaculate welcome and congratulate Rev. Alberto Ruiz Gonzalez, OMI on his recent appointment as the new Kusenberger Chair of Oblate Studies at Oblate School of Theology in San Antonio, TX. Fr. Gonzalez succeeds Fr. Frank Santucci, OMI, the first chair of Oblate Studies when it was inaugurated in January 2017.

The Kusenberger Chair of Oblates Studies promotes the history, charism, spirituality, and mission of the Missionary Oblates of Mary Immaculate through teaching, research, and enrichment programs. The Chair was made possible by the generosity of Deacon Robert and Ruth Kusenberger, ensuring that the Oblate legacy continues to inspire and form future generations of religious and lay leaders.

We thank Fr. Frank Santucci, OMI for his years of dedicated passionate service in teaching about the life and ministry of our Founder, St. Eugene de Mazenod.

Welcome Fr. Gonzalez!
