Oblates Celebrate 200 Years of Missionary Life in the World in Rome – 17 Feb 2026

On February 17, 2026, Cardinal Luis Tagle presided over the Eucharistic celebration of the bicentenary of papal approval of our congregation, concelebrated by the Superior General Fr. Luis Ignacio Rois Alonso, OMI and Msgr. Wilhelm Steckling, OMI.

Around 150 people were present in the chapel of the General House. Oblates came from across the world, joined by consecrated women and lay members of our charismatic family, and by friends from other religious congregations who joined in our celebration.

It was a graced moment of thanksgiving to God for the history he has written for us.
