Day 9 of Novena to Our Lady of the Snows

Scripture:
“The Lord is my strength and my song.” — Exodus 15:2

“My soul proclaims the greatness of the Lord.” — Luke 1:46

Contemplation:
Give thanks for the graces received during this novena.

Reflection:
Grace often comes quietly…
like snow falling in the night…
gentle…
steady…
unseen at first.
And yet—
by morning,
everything is changed.
So it is with the Word of God.
“As the rain and snow come down from heaven…
they do not return without watering the earth.”
Grace is never empty.
Never wasted.
It is always at work…
even within you.
In the hidden places…
where wounds remain…
where weariness lingers…
where the heart feels fragile.
And still—
God is moving.
Our Lady of the Snows…
you who reflect the purity of His grace,
teach the heart to be open…
to receive what God is already giving.
Mary proclaims,
“My soul magnifies the Lord…
my spirit rejoices in God, my Savior.”
Not because life was easy…
but because grace was active.
Lifting the lowly.
Filling the hungry.
Remembering mercy.
And that same grace is reaching you now.
Not demanding…
but inviting…
not rushing…
but transforming…
slowly…
faithfully…
completely.
What feels dry can become fruitful.
What feels broken can be restored.
What feels weak can be strengthened.
You do not have to force it.
Only receive it.
Like the earth welcomes the rain…
like the fields receive the snow…
let grace fall gently within you.
And trust this:
God’s word is already at work.
His mercy is already moving.
His grace will accomplish what it was sent to do.
And within you—
healing is beginning…
hope is growing…
and something beautiful is being made new.

Prayer:
Our Lady of the Snows,
whose purity reflects the grace of God,
help us open our hearts to the transforming power of His Word.
As the snow and rain make the earth fruitful,
may God’s grace accomplish in us
what He desires.
With you we proclaim the greatness of the Lord
and rejoice in the mercy that lifts the lowly.
Let grace heal what is wounded,
renew what is weary,
and strengthen what is fragile within us.
May our lives, like yours,
bear witness to the faithfulness of God.
