When sorrow touches the heart through the loss of a loved one, your compassion becomes a quiet light in someone’s darkness. Your remembrance is more than memory—it is a sacred act of love.
As All Souls Day approaches, you are invited to honor those you love with a Rose of Remembrance—a beautiful symbol of prayer and devotion offered during the All Souls Novena, November 2–10.
Each rose will be placed near the altar at two sacred Marian shrines:
Our Lady of Lourdes Grotto and Tepeyac, San Antonio, Texas
The National Shrine of Our Lady of the Snows, Belleville, Illinois
These roses bloom in quiet reverence throughout the Novena, surrounding the altar with color and prayer. Whether this is the first All Souls Day since their passing, or their memory has been carried through many seasons of prayer, your offering becomes part of a sacred tapestry of remembrance.
Let this simple gesture speak what words cannot: A bloom of remembrance. A prayer in color. A sign of enduring love.
“Grant them, Lord, eternal rest, and let perpetual light shine upon them.” — from the traditional Catholic Requiem Prayer
Know that your prayers are joined with many others. May the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace.
Your gift helps continue the Missionary Oblates’ ministry to the poor and abandoned—bringing comfort, hope, and healing in Christ’s name.
